Carrell Get Carrell

Use your Carrell library in ChatGPT and Claude

Updated November 1, 2026

The Carrell connector lets ChatGPT and Claude search and read your Carrell library when you ask them about it: the sermons you recorded, the photos of your notes and sermon slides, and the notes you wrote while reading. It only reads. It can't change or delete anything, and it can't see your highlights, bookmarks or Ask conversations.

Connect it

You need a Carrell account with something in your library.

Either way, a Carrell sign-in page opens. Sign in with the account your library is in and allow access. You can turn the connector off for one conversation in the app's tool menu.

What to ask

The assistant finds matching passages, reads the item, and should say which sermon or note it is drawing on. Text that Carrell read from a photo or a recording and you haven't reviewed yet is marked as unreviewed, because it may have reading mistakes.

What it can do

Privacy

What the connector reads from your library is sent to OpenAI or Anthropic as part of your conversation, and their own terms and settings apply to it there. Carrell doesn't keep a copy of what was searched or read. The privacy policy has the details.

Disconnect

Disconnect Carrell in Claude's Settings › Connectors or in ChatGPT's Plugins. That stops any further access. Deleting your Carrell account also ends it.

Help

If the connector can't find something you know is in your library, check that you signed in with the same account, and try the words the item itself would contain. For anything else, write to hello@carrell.ai.
