These terms cover your use of Carrell's apps, website and services. By creating an account you agree to them.

The beta

Carrell is in beta. Features may change, and things may break. We'll try to tell you before changes that affect your library or your subscription.

Your account

Keep your sign-in secure, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You must be at least 13 to use Carrell.

Your content

What you put in your library is yours. You give us permission to store, process and display it only to provide Carrell to you, including sending it to the providers named in our privacy policy. Don't upload anything you don't have the right to, and only record speakers who have agreed to it.

Pro subscriptions

• Pro is billed monthly or yearly, in advance, and renews automatically until you cancel.
• Bought on the web or the Mac: cancel or change it any time in your account's Manage subscription page (Stripe). Bought in the iPhone app: manage it in your Apple Account settings.
• Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
• Prices may change; a new price applies from your next renewal after we tell you.
• Allowances (questions, transcription hours, photos and storage) reset each month and don't carry over.
• If something went wrong with a charge, write to us and we'll make it right. Purchases through Apple are refunded by Apple.

Ask and AI

Ask's answers are generated by AI. They can be wrong, incomplete or unbalanced, so check them against Scripture and the sources cited. They aren't pastoral, medical, legal or professional advice.

Bible translations

Built-in translations are in the public domain. Licensed translations belong to their publishers and may only be used within Carrell, for your own reading and study.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse Carrell: no attempts to break or overload it, get around allowances, access other people's data, or use it to harm others. We may suspend accounts that do.

Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time. We may end the service, with reasonable notice and a chance to export your library, or close accounts that break these terms.

Disclaimers

Carrell is provided as it is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
