Before you pay.
Is reading the Bible really free?
Yes. The reader, bundled public-domain Bibles, personal imports, search, highlights, notes and bookmarks cost nothing and have no limits. Pro raises the allowances for Ask, sermons, photos and storage.
Are licensed online translations available with Pro?
Coming soon. Licensed online translations through API.Bible are planned as part of Carrell Pro, not separate add-ons. No publisher licenses have been purchased yet, and upgrading does not unlock them today. Availability depends on publisher licensing, with no release date or guaranteed catalog.
How do I cancel?
If you subscribed on the Mac, cancel in your account’s Manage subscription page. If you subscribed in the iPhone app, cancel in your Apple Account settings. Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
What happens to my library if I stop paying?
Nothing is deleted. Your notes, highlights, sermons and photos stay yours and stay exportable. New uploads follow the Free allowances.
Do unused questions or hours carry over?
No. Allowances reset each month.
Is my library used to train AI?
No. We don’t sell your data, show ads, or train models on your library. The privacy policy names every provider that processes it for us.
Is Carrell finished?
Carrell is in beta. Features may change, and we’ll tell you before changes that affect your library or your subscription.
